The version naming convention was mistakenly mentioned as single digit in the MINOR version part of Saral Income Tax and Saral TaxOffice.
Now at the arrival of new version 3.10, Relyon clarifies stating "In the version naming convention, it was earlier by mistake, mentioned as 3.1, 3.2, which should have been 3.01, 3.02 and so on. The minor version series runs in 2 decimal digits. Whereas the Major version number changes only for new Financial Year update. We regret the mistake in terming the version number till 3.09, and hence company took the decision to correct the terminology and continue it with major version number 3."
This was stated, when several of customers questioned about making version 3.10 after 3.9 [which is read as 3.90 in mathematical terms]. There were suggestions to correct this terminology and release version 4 of the product.
Relyon also clarifies stating, the earlier releases will still be referred as 3.2, 3.3 til 3.9 for any specifications in future as it has already been used in the market.
